Throw Grandma off the Train
I was on my way to the new mega-mall, Diamond City, to do some shopping and watch the new Harry Potter movie with some friends. At the train station I ran into two students. Ironically enough, a month before I'm set to go back to America it seems most of the students have decided to not ignore me in public and actually seem to want try to talk with me, in English no less! But that's beside the point. I boarded the train with the students, talked to them a bit, then went into the next car where my friends were sitting. Before I could go though, I noticed an old lady starting to talk to the students asking if I was their boyfriend or something. They explained I was their teacher and I was from America. Eh, whatever... I went to sit with my friends. Not 5 minutes after I sat down the old lady came into the car we were sitting in and started yelling! I couldn't make out ALL she was saying, but she started with "Listen closely! You're all going to hell! Be careful! (Then something about foreigners.) The Americans, Chinese, Koreans, they come into the houses." In a country where it's a little rude to not have your cell phone on vibrate when taking public transport, a screaming old lady on the train was not well received. One man got up and walked to the other end of the car but most people stared in disgust, then tried (unsuccessfully) to ignore her. She then walked around the car, stopped at us and started pointing at my friends asking if they were boyfriend and girlfriend and talking about how white Rob's skin was. The looks some people gave were vicious. It was a VERY long train ride after that. At least Harry Potter was good.
